Ascending Under Golden Rock
This painting grows out of my own mountaineering experience in the Matcha Knot region, where the Alay, Turkestan, and Zeravshan ranges converge in a maze of glaciers and golden rock faces. I wanted to capture the feeling of climbing on a steep, sunlit slope, when every step with crampons bites into the snow and the weight of the pack pulls you backward. Through impasto oil and visible brushstrokes, I emphasize both the harsh texture of the mountain and the quiet determination of the climbers. I hope viewers feel the mix of vulnerability and strength that comes with ascent, and sense the landscape not only as a physical challenge but as a place of inner testing and spiritual focus.
Эта картина выросла из моего собственного опыта в районе горного узла Матча, где хребты Алайский, Туркестанский и Зеравшанский сходятся в лабиринт ледников и золотистых скальных стен. Я хотел передать ощущение подъёма по крутому, залитому солнцем склону — когда каждый шаг в кошках вгрызается в снег, а вес рюкзака тянет назад. С помощью пастозной масляной живописи и видимых мазков я подчёркиваю и суровую фактуру горы, и спокойную решимость восходителей. Мне хочется, чтобы зритель почувствовал смесь уязвимости и силы, которая приходит с подъёмом, и увидел в этом ландшафте не только физическое испытание, но и пространство внутренней проверки и духовной сосредоточенности.
